The trustees of Kids Alive Internationals UK office (KA-UK) are seeking an experienced Executive Director to lead and grow Kids Alives work in the UK. This will include overseeing the implementation of a strategic plan, directing communications, and growing fundraising and major donor activities. While reporting to the KA-UK trustees, the Executive Director will work closely with the leadership and staff of Kids Alive International in the USA. This role will involve up to 90 days of travel each year, both in the UK and internationally.
This is essentially a start-up role, so you will need the all the self-motivation and resourcefulness that this will require. We are ambitious and expect that in time our capacity will grow, which is where the opportunity lies for you to make a lasting contribution to the future well-being of children who live in distressing circumstances.
Your experience will include management responsibility in the charity sector that equips you with a knowledge of charity and fundraising governance as well the how a relationship approach to donor engagement works in practice and can leads to long-term mutually beneficial partnerships.
There is an Occupational Requirement that the post holder is a committed Christian.
