We have a very special role at our client; a well-known charity working across the UK and internationally with some of the globes most disadvantaged communities.
This organisation has had their incredible work recognised yet again with a truly breath-taking donor response to their COVID response. The philanthropy team are well-established and already in a good place for this financial year. A new strategy is in place meaning the new team member will be a part of the next exciting chapter in this departments development.
This role will benefit from a healthy portfolio of live donors with a history of support and warm prospects already developed, as well as having a proportion of new prospects (which are generated from a range of channels including board and supporter networks).
In this role you will focus on gifts of £50,000+and historically all team members have at least one six-figure prospect in their portfolio. The new strategy is heavy on collaboration so, this role will be supported in their donor canvassing by the Head of and Director and this role will support their li e report and other junior staff with theirs. There is a team of 8 with a real sense of shared purpose.
Philanthropy is embedded and supported to the top of this incredible organisation so approaches are often peer-led as well as team-led.
This role will manage one junior member of staff and take an active role in their career development.
