We measure our success by your success.

Our team has been working with executives and not-for-profit organisations for 15 years. We’re specialists in the sector: we’re well connected, networked and always plugged in.

We’re not a warehouse of cvs and roles: we’ll give you a personal service, and get to know you well. Our aim is to connect you not just with a role that uses your skills, but with an organisation that will suit the kind of person you are.

Above all, we’re interested in your career: success for us isn’t about how many people we place, it’s about helping you to achieve your long-term goals.

Blesma - The Limbless Veterans is the national charity and membership association for limbless serving and ex-service men and women and their dependants. It exists to help its people to lead independent and fulfilling lives. We help all wounded servicemen and women who have lost limbs, the use of limbs or eyes, to rebuild their lives by providing rehabilitation activities and well-being support. Blesma campaigns for our veterans rights and looks after individuals and their families by offering a comprehensive grants and welfare system. Rehabilitation, support, counselling and care are the four principle foundations of our organisation. Together, we can help our men, women and their families face the challenges ahead with renewed confidence and self-belief. The Associate Director of Fundraising is an important role within Blesma that sits on the Executive Team and leads a high-performing team that delivers efficient, effective and sustainable fundraising programme that has gone from strength to strength over recent years. With a turnover of GBP6.6m in 2016, we successfully raised in excess of GBP3.5m the following year in order to continue to deliver our activities and adapt to changing needs. As a charity, we are committed to ensuring that every penny we receive is spent wisely and this forms the foundation of our commitment to the donors who support our work. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced fundraiser who thrives on doing the fundraising and who takes a relationship approach to developing long-term partnerships that lead to multiple gifts. Blesma is an organisation that is fundamentally concerned with people and individual relationships, which informs how we do our fundraising. We seek to attract and employ the best people from the widest talent pool, as well as those who reflect the diverse nature of our society. Blesma encourages a culture where people can be themselves and be valued for their strengths. With an increasingly agile workforce, we are open to flexible working arrangements where appropriate. How to apply Application is by way of CV initially.
