Major Gifts Fundraiser
Norwood has been proudly serving the community for 225 years and is the largest Jewish charity in the UK supporting vulnerable children and their families, children with special educational needs and people with learning disabilities and autism.
Every day our multidisciplinary teams and dedicated volunteers make an invaluable difference to people's lives.
The Major Gifts Fundraiser will be responsible for managing an existing portfolio of major donors and building relationships with potential new major supporters to Norwood. You will cultivate the charitys major donors ensuring long term relationships and engagement with their activities.
The postholder will also be jointly responsible, with the Head of Events, for income to corporate and major donor events.
Along with your fundraising credentials you will also need to be able to demonstrate an understanding of the UK Jewish community. This is not just the values, traditions and beliefs that underpin both family and communal life but also how these shape the character and patterns of philanthropic giving by the community.
Applications are in the format and CV and Supporting Statement.
Given the current crisis we are experiencing a high volume of applications for the active searches we are managing at the moment. We regret that it is impossible to provide a detailed individual response to each application received. If you do not hear from us within 7 days of the advertised closing date, please assume that your application is not being taken forward to the selection stage.
