As Head of Finances and Business Development you will hold lead responsibility for overseeing the management of the charitys finances, the annual budget setting cycle, and the preparation of the charitys statutory accounts. You will also lead on the development of business opportunities to generate income for the charity, ensuring the development opportunities are effectively maximised.
As the expert on the charitys finances and business development you will be responsible to develop and implement the charitys Business Development and Fundraising strategy and to securing regular income through trusts and foundations fundraising applications, writing and presenting bids and tenders in responses to the cycles of renewal and to new opportunities as they arise
Necessarily, this will be done in collaboration with colleagues who are involved in delivering services as well as with the involvement of service users in the co-production of propositions to funders.
As well as the finance function and team, you will also be responsible for the management of the reception and the volunteers that help to run it and who provide that all-important welcome to people accessing the services we provide.
