In a rapidly changing sector, knowledge and experience bring real benefits. NFP was founded by Simon and Carroll Lloyd in 2002 because their own experience in the not-for-profit sector told them that organisations and individuals were desperately looking for good quality support that focused on their goals, not on an agency’s targets.

We're specialists
We provide a range of services including charity recruitment, executive search and selection and HR services for organisations across the UK.
We work alongside third sector organisations, helping them to be robust, healthy and effective through high quality recruitment, executive search and consultancy. We're specialists in recruiting within fundraising, operational and business development roles and work across management levels. We're particularly good at those tricky, critical roles of all levels in niche organisations that don't fit the mould.
Our HR services covers challenges around people development and talent retention and we have helped charities with salary reviews, benchmarking, assessments, training and leadership development. We also provide ad hoc advice on HR related questions and challenges such as questions about contracts or job descriptions. We work with clients on an hourly or project rate depending on their needs and budgets.
NFP helped and supported from the beginning to the end of the process, from helping us determine exactly what the role was and what sort of person we required to helping us getting the right person for the role. Everyone worked in the most professional but friendly way, from the receptionist to the director, they were a pleasure to work with.

How do we do it
Our approach
We are very proud of our own collaborative work ethic and culture. We don’t work on a commission basis and put our clients’ and candidates’ needs first. We want their experience of us to be a positive and productive one and we want people to enjoy working with us.
Our approach is based on partnership with charities and non-profits because that’s how we feel we can do our best and offer the most value. The relationship we have with our clients is never transactional and always based on trust and respect.
We don’t think in terms of clients and candidates. We think about people, teams, causes and impact.
We believe the work we do is important because the work of our clients is important. Whenever we work on an assignment, we think of the organisation’s beneficiaries as being the people we’re working for. You'll see photos from our clients all over our website because they are what our business is really about.
