How we work
Unlike most recruitment companies, we don’t work on a commission basis
Instead, we share information across assignments because we believe this approach achieves the best result for our candidates and our clients. It also makes for a really nice team atmosphere.
We work with a range of associates to bring in the expertise needed for an assigment. When we need to supplement our team skills, we make sure we do and we have great relationships with an experienced and talented pool of people to do this.
One size doesn't fit all
Our in-house expertise covers a range of assessment techniques and we work with out clients to find the best mix that's most appropriate for the role, level and organisational culture. One size doesn't and shouldn't, fit all. We use competency based interviewing, psychometric testing, online verbal and numerical tests, tasks and presentations (ask us about PechaKucha!) Sometimes organisations have very particular processes they want to incorporate into their selection process and we love that. Because it reflects the culture and helps get the perfect candidate. But we believe what underpins any assessment is ultimately taking the time to get to know the client and candidate and we do that exceptionally well.

Challenge
We ask the right questions to help our clients define their needs so we can find the candidate who will deliver results and add real value. We work closely with our clients and advise and challenge as a trusted partner, not just a supplier.
Professional, friendly and experienced
We pride ourselves on building long term relationships with our clients and candidates. We want the people we work with to feel respected, reassured and confident whenever they speak to us and to enjoy their experience of working with us. The recruitment industry sometimes has a bad reputation and we strive to never live down to those expectations.
Committed
We believe that filling a vacancy is much more than finding someone who can do the job. We work hard to understand the culture and ambition of each organisation so we can find the best person for you. When we put forward candidates, we focus on quality not quantity. Our team works to the principle that you only need one, but it has to be the right one.
Expert
NFP Consulting has been working with the non profit sector for nearly 20 years. Our consultants have experience of recruitment, consulting and the non profit world. Our insight into our clients' challenges and candidates' experience comes from our track record and from the fact that we volunteer, serve as trustees, mentor and offer our time pro bono to a range of charities.
Reliable
We want you to know that you're in safe hands. Over 200 charities and non profits have trusted us with their recruitment and consulting needs. We like to think of ourselves as small but perfectly formed, offering personal attention and care to each client and candidate.
I never thought I’d say this, but if you’re a small charity that's low on money and big on dreams, spend some of that precious cash on NFP. Saba, our new Development Director, is better than any candidate we could ever have found. And NFP even made an introduction to the perfect new Trustee, because that’s just what they do.
