Director of Strategic Development
Prout Bridge Project
Circa £40,000 per annum (pro rata)
Beaminster, Dorset - with some homeworking available

The Prout Bridge Project offers youth, mental-health and community services in the town of Beaminster in West Dorset. Set up in 2016 in response to cuts in youth and family provision, it has evolved in response to the community's needs and has become a much-valued resource for the town, and beyond. Our aim is to support children, young people and adults to participate, thrive and connect as part of an inclusive and resilient community.

The project is run by a small team of staff supported by an active board and volunteers - all experienced in their field. Programmes are developed in genuine co-production with service users, staff and volunteers, funders and partners.

This is a great time to join the Prout Bridge Project with exciting growth opportunities and funding from the National Lottery Community Fund, which is enabling this new senior role of Director of Strategic Development.

We are looking for an exceptional, experienced and enthusiastic person, who shares our culture and values and is passionate about our vision. The ideal candidate will lead on our strategy, financial stability and sustainability through income generation - including grant applications, fundraising and contracts - and marketing. They will support and grow our team of staff and volunteers and ensure that we have the structures and processes in place to maintain high-quality service delivery.

If you believe you have the skills, drive and ambition to add value to our committed team, we look forward to receiving your application.
