Chief Executive
Katherine Low Settlement
£60,000 - £65,000
Full-time, permanent
Battersea

Katherine Low Settlement is a much-loved, busy charity that has been at the heart of the community in Battersea, London, since 1924.

We work to reduce poverty and isolation and bring the community together. Our vision is of an inclusive society where the people of Battersea and the wider Wandsworth community achieve their potential together.

The core programmes we deliver support older people, children, young people and their families from refugee backgrounds and newly-arrived adults learning English. Each week over 500 people a week visit our building. It's all go at Katherine Low!

We also campaign for social change, and we partner with other charities and communities to help them to thrive in the wider community.

KLS is a wonderfully inspiring place where people care for and look after each other. We live by our values of respect, collaboration and kindness, which have been central to our working environment and our success for almost a century.

We are seeking a new Chief Executive who embodies our values and who will bring the strategic and operational leadership that ensures that Katherine Low Settlement continues to deliver and expand our programmes in genuine co-production with the communities we serve.

In the immediate future, the three priorities for you as our next Chief Executive are to take forward the measures designed to enhance organisational effectiveness, to strengthen and diversify income generation and to maintain our profile as a provider of choice for funders within the Borough and beyond.
